stands 3 – Two reversing roughing stands: > 2 vertical cages: 1250 kW & 1500 kW > 1 horizontal cage: 10 470 kW > Max width reduction in one pass: 140 mm 4 – Slabs continue on motorized
rollerconveyors to the finishing stands 5 – Six finishing stands: > 6 vertical cages: each cage consists of 2 big workrolls and 2 smaller support rolls > Each set of support rolls is powered by an 8000 HP motor > 6 MW power per cage / 3000 ton > Max speed: 16 m/sec 6 – Finished product passes on
motorized rollerconveyors to water cooling table > 150 meters long > 5000 m3 water/hour > 1450 nozzles, max pressure 4,5 bar 7 – After cooling the product goes
to the trimmer and gauge station 8 – After trimming the product can
