The Iemca Elite 220, with its new and revolutionary design, is the most versatile barfeeder currently available on the market thanks to its two types of magazine: a linear/gravity magazine for bar stock from 3 to 20mm and a "step by step" magazine, ideal for thin bar stock from 2 to 6mm. The barfeeder can be configured with just one type of magazine or both. If configured with both, the change from one magazine to the other takes only a few seconds.
The Elite 220 has a vibration-damping bush holding device that ensures support for the rotating bar. This device is automatically reconfigured at every retooling.
Elite works successfully with high-performance sliding headstock lathes. Working with closed, calibrated round-section channels and featuring mechanical synchronisation with minimal inerita, Elite 220 ensures high speed (up to 20,000rpm), as well as extreme reliability, precision and silent operation.
The Elite does not require any particular adjustments to change job/bar size or to work with thin bars. This is facilitated by a library of pre-set configurations in the operator panel.

Headstock Synchronisation
The Elite 220 boasts a minimum inertia mechanical synchronisation system to ensure precision following of headstocks - even those actuated by linear motors - no matter how small the bars.
Selecting Thin Material
The Elite does not require any particular adjustments to change job/bar size or to work with thin bars.
Simple to Use
The Iemca barfeed devices design allows for simple set-up for both mechanical and component programming. Iemca devices allow for setting-up a new material size on full length barfeed models to be both quick and easy and can be less than 2 minutes.
Floor Space
The innovative double pusher and guide channel design reduces the overall length of the barfeed and make the Iemca barfeed range the most compact on the market.

Bar introduction/extraction clamps self-centring directly on bar, requiring no adjustment by the operator when changing bar size.
Snap-in Guides
The round section guide channels are fully closed and lubricated and can be completed replaced without tools in less than a few minutes.
Greater Flexibility

Changeover
