The ultimate in performance for heavy lathes intended for steel mills, roll foundries, forge shops for making products like turbine rotors, large shafts and bar production. Most noticeable differences in regards to a normal lathe: > much wider bed = very high rigidity = no more vibration > heavy and bulcky carriage also for rigidity purposes > heavy workpieces can be placed between the centers > the total weight of the roll lathe is very high
